John Crumpton's encounter with God and call to become ‘a pastor to pastors’, happened in the late seventies whilst he was a youngster. After school John studied a B.Com, worked in the IT sector both locally and internationally, studied theology and served in the local church in East London. Being the son of Derek Crumpton, John had grown up ‘in ministry’ but he and his wife Lisa, a prophetic artist, only moved to Johannesburg to lead Breakthru Life Church in 2002.
The rest is history: a thriving local congregation along with John’s heart to love and serve God and the body of Christ with cutting edge international ministries (i.e. the annual Kingdom Come event) and on National bodies such as WENZA and TEASA. John and Lisa have three adult sons. John’s ministry comes with a generational anointing, wisdom and revelation
